Double D Transportation is a leading construction materials and equipment transportation company operating mostly throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area. We have truck driving careers available for experienced, professional drivers to drive our late model trucks and trailers. We transport aggregates, asphalt and dirt to our customer’s construction sites. This position requires that drivers are available Monday thru Friday, with some occasional Saturday work; you also may be required to work at night which has premium pay of $3/hr above base pay. Applicants must be willing and available to work these shifts. Double D Transportation employs drivers who are safe and professional, with a positive attitude and a willingness to do a quality and efficient job. Although we do have a development program that includes how to safely operate our equipment on construction sites, you still need at least 2 years verified heavy duty commercial driving experience with a minimum 1 year transfer experience.
Competitive Compensation Package:
- $35.00 per hour, with overtime after 40 hrs. Base rate of pay can increase over time based on safety, attitude, attendance, performance, professionalism and longevity. We do annual profit sharing reviews to reward drivers for their performance.
- Annual profit sharing consists of cash and pre-tax 401(k) contributions.
- Overtime after 40 hours.
- 10 days paid vacation annually. Vacation days increase with longevity.

- Valid Class “A” driver’s license.
- Minimum age 25.
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving heavy duty commercial trucks with manual transmission. Minimum 1 years of experience driving transfers.
- We require a “K-4” DMV driving record from a DMV branch office within the last 30 days. Please attach with the application.
